Slow-Cooked Beef Brisket

Brown 2lbs. beef brisket all sides over a high heat/remove. Cook 2 c diced onion for one or two minutes medium heat. Add 2 T tomato paste ¾ c beef stock ½ c honey 2 T Dijon mustard ½ c ketchup 2 T balsamic vinegar 2 T Worcestershire sauce 1 t liquid smoke Sea salt & freshly ground blackpepper heat up. Drizzle sauce over the brisket cook ultra low for 8 hours. Remove brisket & pull the meat apart or slice against the grain. Cook until the sauce thickens up and serve the meat with the hot sauce.
